Police Recover N23.6m Worth of Gold Buried by Woman During Boko Haram Att+ck
The Borno State Police Command has recovered gold valued at N23.6 million for a woman who hid the items 15 years ago while escaping a Boko Haram att+ck in Mallam Fatori.
In a statement, the Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Nahum Daso, said the woman-whose identity was withheld
—returned to the community and requested police assistance to retrieve the gold she buried in the sand during the insurgency
