Nestlé Finland is widening the scope of its recall of infant formula, according to the Finnish Food Authority.
In December, Nestlé announced a precautionary withdrawal of a specific batch of its NAN Sensilac 1 (800g) infant formula powder.
Subsequent investigations found that a minor oil-based ingredient used in the product may have been contaminated with cereulide, a toxin produced by the strain Bacillus cereus.
The recall applies to the following products and batches.
According to the Finnish Food Authority, no cases of illness linked to the recall have been reported to date. Nestlé advises consumers to contact health
